I was in a funk day!

I was a bad blogger today! Sorry in advance for no pictures. Please don't give up on me or the blog. I promise to get better. haha
It has been one of those day. I was in a funk all day, mainly due do stress related to work. I have to be honest, my food intake was weak today. Not many whole grains, fruits or veggies.Ewww i just realized the only veggie I had today was the lettuce in my lunch burrito! That is BAD! Tomorrow WILL be better!

Today's eats:
Breakfast:  kashi oatmeal
    banana
snack- nuts/raisins/craisin mix
lunch- Chipotle grill.....chicken burrito with a few tortilla chips on the side
dinner-  low fat pancakes drizzled with a little light syrup and a perdue baked breaded chicken tender (weird combo!! I know.)

I told you...not sure what got into me! We all have off days...and today was defiantly an OFF day. I didn't make it to spin....again. I was at work until after 6:30pm and was stomach was weird this afternoon.

I am hoping to have a much better day tomorrow. I plan on getting in lots of good, wholesome food; grains, fruits, veggies, lean protein, lots of water AND a work out! My body needs it for sure.

I am going to relax and get myself out of this funk! I am watching the Biggest Loser.

Goodnight all!

  1. Sounds like you and me maybe in the same rut of things. Atleast you have updated your blog, but hopefully i can get my schedule worked out for everything.

Sometimes it's nice to take a couple days off to get sane, but keep your chin up because I'm sure you'll get back on track. Especially if you really want to get fit and be healthy.

I am slowly learning to stop regretting and just deal with what I ate or that I didn't workout, and I'll just do an extra 30 minutes the next day or try and get up in the a.m. to make up for it.
The winter isn't helping at all, but I will keep reading your blog, and hope you get your goals accomplished.

Take baby steps. Set up small goals every week to be achieved, like this week I'll try to go to the gym 4 days out of the week, or something to that idea. And actually I'm starting to give myself ideas, but buy a dry-erase board and make a chart, you want to have it in plain sight, and it will hopefully motivate you to go and do well. Just check off every day you go to the gym or when you eat healthy or according to what you packed.

I hope it all helps, I am also hoping to sit down and update my blog tonight and keep up with it in between classes, work, and the gym.

    Have a good Hump day!!!!
